Park Farm positively impacted the school by increasing the school's publicity, while potentially helping the school recruit future students by showcasing the kind of hands-on and community-oriented learning that takes place at our school. In addition, the Farm is and will continue to, offer agriculture-related educational opportunities for students of all ages. Below are graphs from a survey taken of the students at AACT. They were asked a few simple agriculture-related questions that could be answered by the things that we are doing at Park Farm. While some students were able to get the right answer, many of the responses were incorrect, showing that students clearly need to have more opportunities to interact with their food before it makes it to their plate. Many don’t really understand the extensive process that had to happen before it gets there.
